Ever wonder what it takes to make a difference in the life of a child?
Susie Q’s Kids provides comfort bags to kids in need. It seems simple but how does it all come together for that magical moment when a child opens their bag, cuddles their panda bear, and snuggles in their blanket.
It takes hard work and dedication. Susie Q’s Kids values the contributions of all its supporters. For some it’s making a financial donation, for others it’s donating in-kind products, making handmade items, helping with bag stuffing and deliveries, and for others, it’s being an ambassador spreading our message of hope, inspiration, and healing.
What can you contribute: funding, in-kind products or discounts, coordinating a donation box drive and/or bag stuffing event, participating at an event working with kids and spreading our message, or volunteering to create bags components and/or stuffing and packaging the bags, or maybe, it is some type of service?

Financial Donations
We appreciate your financial support, it extends our buying power to buy products for our comfort bags with quantity discounts. Your financial contirubtions enable us to place comfort bags in the hands of children and young adults in need. Set up a donation drive
Donation boxes can be placed in your business, school, church, youth group, nonprofit, or at a meeting. Contact us for a donation box, choose the items you would like to collect, and we will provide a flyer for your use. Contact Dr. Mary to make arrangements to drop off your donations or arrange a pickup date. Contact Dr. Mary with details, complete the contact form
Bag Stuffing Events
Come together with our great of volunteers to stuff the comfort bags, and box them up for delivery to our nonprofit partners for distribution to kids in their programs. Check out our calendar for the next event and sign up, contact Dr. Mary

Youth Group Ideas
We strongly believe in “Kids Helping Kids”, what can you or your group do to make a difference in the life of a child? Look at our different ways to engage with giving, got an idea? We want to hear from you, together we can build a better experience. Complete our volunteer application and let us know how you can help, what motivates you, and aligns with helping our kids feel comforted.
Host a bottle and can drive
We encourage” kids in helping kids”. If your businesses, youth group, or family want to fundraise for Susie Q’s Kids, contact us for a flyer. Collect your returnables, turn them in, and present Susie Q’s Kids with your donation. We appreciate all efforts to brighten and inspire the lives of kids in need. School Supply Drive
Kids need school supplies year-round. Consider having a donation drive at your business, group, or individually contributing to the academic success of our kids. Financial donations or in-kind products are accepted. Purchases can be shipped directly to Susie Q’s Kids, 13116 Iowa Drive, Warren, MI 48088 or contact Dr Mary to arrange a drop-off.
Sip and Stitch
Get some ladies and gents together and share a cocktail, tea, or soda while creating warm hats, scarves, gloves, mitten, and blankets. The kids will love your donations. Contact Dr Mary for details.
Host a kniting/crocheting/sewing party (blankets, hats, scarfs, gloves)
Do you have a group that loves to gather and knit, crochet, or create items, we would love to have your handmade items for our kids in need. The love you share may motivate and inspire a child Contact Dr. Mary for details, and complete the contact form
Host a blanket making party
Blankets are one of our most desired items, the kids love the warmth of the blankets. Host a blanket party, your guests can donate a blanket or participate in making a no-sew fleece blanket, cutting and tying the fringe to make a colorful blanket for the kids. This is a great opportunity for adults and youths to participate in brightening and inspiring the lives of kids in need. Contact Dr. Mary for details, complete the contact form
Facebook Fundraiser
You can support us on your birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding, or whenever you please. Your donations help us place comfort bags in the hands of children and young adults in need. Log in to Facebook, tap fundraiser, tap raise money, tap nonprofit, select Susie Q’s Kids, and tap create. It is that simple. Once your fundraiser is complete, Facebook will send Susie Q’s Kids a check for funds raised.
Host a charity event
Do you have a special person, loved one, special day, or event to celebrate? Let us offer a way to engage your guests, followers, co-workers, family, and friends. Host a Remembrance bead-story starter party
