Executive Director Kevin Fisher requested Dr Mary Welsh, Co-Founder of Susie Q’s Kids share the stage speaking about her ability to share a different perspective to “Not make life better, but maybe a little easier”. Through her writing (authored four books), speaking locally and nationally, and running her nonprofit Susie Q’s Kids, she provides a platform for participants to grow, nurture their loss and embrace their future, and brighten and inspire the lives of kids in need. She provides a powerful message of hope and healing along with suicide awareness and prevention techniques.
