Dr Mary plays a dual role as the President of the Sterling Heights Lions Club and President of Susie Q’s Kids. The Lions had the honor of serving the blind and visually-impaired kids dinner and ice cream. It was a fun night had by all those serving and those served.
Susie Q’s Kids believes in the camp’s mission and donated $30,000 in art supplies for the kids to have a great summer being creative and artistic, especially on rainy days. The kids are resourceful and had just as much fun using the boxes, cutting, taping, and painting to make their stage props. Very resourceful kids, and we were glad to help!
